A unique log at a really neat park with a view of the Edmonton Queen Riverboat. It's in Louise McKinney park so closed to the public from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM
It's a great park for a stroll. Great views of the river and downtown; there's a Chinese garden to the NE; the riverboat and Dragon Boats across the river; and it connects to various trails that take you along and across the river.
If you are visiting our fair city and staying in one of the downtown hotels it's easy to get to, especially if you are attending an event at the Shaw Conference Center. While here be sure to check out the rest of the park and maybe stroll across the river on the footbridge.
The Cache: Large camoed Lock and Lock, filled with a few dollar store trinkets for the kids and a couple of trashy dollar store souvenirs if you happen to be visiting from out of country. It started out as an easy cache but I got carried away with the camo, it's a little more difficult to spot now. But you don't have to trample any bushes to find it.
There's only 48 spots to sign in the log book and the camo probably isn't very durable so when the log is full I'll archive this cache - find it while you can!
