Geocache Description:

This is a easy, beginners journey, with a moderately easy to find cache along the Sidewalk. It is well hidden, and comoflauged, so keep your eyes peeled! This cache involes walking along a sidewalk, next to the marshlands, and creek. You may experience some birds, jackrabbits, and other wildlife if you are lucky.

This is a nice little old plastic makeup container, hidden along the fencing of Breaker Circle, within the Eden Shores Community. DO NOT hop/cross the metal fence. It is NOT required. Beyond that fence is a water hazard and federal property. The Cache can be obtained by reaching into the fence, and foliage, near the sidewalk. Cache has some small trinkets to start off it's journey. Please record your name in the log, and return it to it's original location. Long arms or a reacher tool is helpful! You can park either in the Eden Shores Park and walk, or park along the fencing. DO NOT disturb any of the residents.

IT HELPS TO PARK IN FRONT OF THE CACHE TO REMAIN INCONSPICUOUS!

Congratulations to KCSearcher for the FTF :D

All of the Eden Shores Community used to be acres, and acres of Gladiola fields, as far as the eye can see pre 1995. Beyond the Gladiola fields were Salt Flats, miles of it. In 1998, Standard Pacific Homes claimed the land and erected Eden Shores. Today, over the former fields, we have hundreds of residential homes, A Costco, and 2 mini neighborhoods in front named Crossings, and Bridgeport. The Salt Flats were gifted back to the City of Hayward by the farm, and the city began dredging, and imploding the land to form what we know today as the Don E. Edwards Wildlife Refuge.
