Geocache Description:

Overview: Very near the west end of the trail between the Hollywood Riviera section of Torrance and PVE where we have hidden 16 other caches. The cache is almost concealed, and you may or may not do the toughest 6' of bushwhacking you've ever done to reach it. Not recommended at night.

A Harty Kudos to WallenFamily for FTF (only 80 min. > pre-dawn publication)
Many of you will get the "Oh-and-Two" reference – but we will explain anyway: We populated our neighborhood (the Hollywood Riviera) with geocaches, and as of Spring 2012 had built up a 17-cache power series on or near this 2-mile trail heading east from the north end of the parking lot near here. This is our 3rd attempt to place a cache very near the west end of that Torrance-PVE boundary trail, with now-archived caches near here that were lost and abandoned, first, due to a landscaping change (3EGC3EN78), and second, a very unique cache type (GC4AMMV) whose location was then compromised by a construction event after it went MIA and before we procured the right replacement container. This is an entirely new and different container, new location (not far from the 2nd lost cache), new logsheet, and new hide type — plus, it's August. Hence, we realize this must be a new cache. Let's hope that after two strikes here, this new cache will be a hit.

There is a parking very near the cache, in a lot on the east side of PV Blvd. Traffic flying by on PV Blvd. won't notice you – but beware that the northbound lanes pass uncomfortably close behind the parking. Keep an eye out for on-foot muggles (glance up the trail east to be sure no one is coming before diving off the trail) and for those in parked cars.

This container is large enough for small trade items, up to ~ 1.5" in circumference. Bring your own writing utensil, just in case. The cache container is held in place by an improvised holder, but the entire container can be removed before opening. To minimize your time exposed to potential muggles, you may want to go sit on one of the large rocks on the south side of the trail before opening the cache. Please replace the container back in the holder , which should guarantee sufficient concealment. Again, please check carefully that no muggles are within sight before replacing.
