This cache was originally placed for the Pirate Picnic event GC4BBWT
Long Frog Signal‘s fleet was sailing the seas,
In seventeen hundred and fifty three.
His ships were spotted off Maldon Quay,
a Frigate, a Clipper and a Schooner for all to see.
The ruthless Captains of these fearsome boats,
were Bugg, Cache and Bison, all renowned cut-throats.
Intent on a picnic Signal scoured the shore,
With booze for the feast stowed in his quartermaster’s store.
When upon Maldon Prom he did a-hap,
So he placed an X upon his map.
Captain Bugg, the spot, was first to reach,
And began unloading rum unto the beach.
Sail Ho! Long Frog Signal was spied aboard,
Captain Cache's boat; for they had an accord.
Although their cursed craft was caught in a gale,
They arrived before the schooner Cito, regaling of their tale.
Byop’s commander sailed alone,
His notorious clipper in these parts was well known.
With the good ship Muggle, and all three of his crews,
Signal feasted on hardtack washed down with grog brew.
So ponder a while, then tell me if you can,
Which ship, name and type, was captained by which man?
Aboard which vessel stout and true,
Did Long Frog Signal sail the blue?
Which pirate ship arrived unsurpassed,
Which arrived second and which weighed anchor last?
They came for a picnic from afar to the east,
But who brought what for this magnificent pirate feast?
