A squirrel is chillin' in a tree when a cow climbs up and sits next to him.
"Whatcha doin' here?" asks the squirrel.
"I'm here to eat some apples."
"But this is a pine tree!"
"I know. I brought my own apples."
An easy cache hidden amongst a stand of pine trees in the Helderberg Nature Reserve.
Pines to make way for Fynbos
I have just learned that the pine forests inside the Helderberg Nature Reserve are to be cut down and the land rehabilitated with fynbos. With this in mind I will be removing and archiving this cache some time around the beginning of February 2014 (if not earler), before any logging operations start.
