This cache is placed in a small park / garden in the middle of Castletownroche, built in recent years. I did not know it existed till recently so thought it would be a good place for a cache to draw more people to it. Nearby is a small abandoned looking shack where I'd hoped to place a cache originally but it's too overgrown with nettles and I would assume more risk of 'darn kids' muggling it spot where some lad is after building a brand new house.
Also worth seeing in the area is the pub with "Free wifi great beer" sign, nearby cottage with fake windows, carboot sale (every second sunday). The petrol station at the bottom of the hill has as far as I know only been kept tidy for the benefit of the Tidy Towns and has been closed for many years.
There is plenty free parking around, no bother at all unlike in many villages with a main road going through it these days.
Container is a 0.14l 'really useful box' with tiny pencil, rj45 connectors, rj11, bluetooth dongle, keyring, battery, ancient (presumed dead) compactflash card inside.
