Geocache Description:

This cache is in a wooded area close to one of the busiest intersections in North Bay.

This intersection is where Highway 63 coming in from Quebec joins up with Highway 11 - 17. For people new to North Bay it may be confusing as the road going east is called Trout Lake Road but the same road is called Cassells Street going west into the downtown. The highway going north-south is both Highway 11 and 17 for this short section but is known to the locals as "The Bypass". I guess when it was built in the 1950s it actually did go around the city.
