Geocache Description:

This is a series of grange caches that I will be hiding. this cache is great for kids. the container is a water jug and  has toy's, log book, writing tool. I have permission to place this cache here, please respect the land, please replace the cache in it's right place. There is parking right off the highway. Easy quick cache. you will not be able to get to this cache in the winter due to snow.

This cache is the second in the grange series. Granges were established in 1868 mainly for the farmers. They have the granges in rural areas. the first grange was the Potomac Grange # 1. By the end of 1872 1105 local granges had been organized. Granges have been actively involved in the Legislative process leading to many aspect of daily life we now take for granted. Our State of Washington has the largest membership in the Nation. There are 269 Community (subordinate) granges and 41 County (Pomona) granges that cover Washington State. I was raised around granges, When I was young we would go to the Grange for different functions like dances, potlucks and just get together to get to know your neighbors. It is sad to see the granges dissapearing over time. First to find will get first aide kit, lego pathtag.  Please place cache back where it is and please respect the property
