While the Missus was away, the kiddos and I played, and we put a cache here on our way out from a brief 4x4 drive up to the 2nd bench and the Intermountain "I". This parking area is frequently used by people to park, unload their ATVs or dirt bikes, and ride up the road. It could also be used as a trailhead if you don't mind the immediate steep hike, but if you have a high-clearance vehicle you can proceed further up the road and start your hike at the bench.
