Geocache Description:

A cache next to a very artistic intersection, the Western terminus of the Connective Corridor.

The Near Westside of Syracuse is unfortunately one of the poorest census tracts in the nation. Lately, though, there has been a lot of activity and growth—just look at this area. You can see the cryptically painted train bridges by New York City artist Steve Powers, which were coordinated by the Near Westside Initiative. The large white building is (among other things) the gleaming new headquarters for the Syracuse pubic radio and television stations. And the tan-and-red building is the Delavan Center, which houses many of Syracuse's artist studios as well as the nation's largest specialty letterpress printer.

Parking spots are available beside the white building on Wyoming Street or on Marcellus Street. This cache was placed with the kind permission of the Delavan Center's landlord, who requests that you please not park in his tenants' parking along Wyoming.
