Geocache Description:

Stonehenge Recreation Ground

The Stonehenge Recreation Ground is used for horse sports such as Polo and Polocrosse and is set amongst some impressive granite boulders.

The ground takes its name from the nearby Stonehenge Station which is just to the south. Stonehenge Station was the first property settled in the Glen Innes area by white settlers in 1838.
