This cemetery is on the site of St. George's Anglican Church which was consecrated by Bishop John Strachan in 1853. The church remained on this site until 1859 when it's congregation joined with Christ Anglican Church at Forest in 1859. George Fisher's wife Elizabeth who died in 1871 at age 36, is buried close by and has agreed to watch over this cache. Please pay your respects as you pass her grave (notice the white stone marker directly above the gate post in the picture) on the way to your find.
