The Thames Valley Trail stretches for 110 km from its southern terminus on Southdel Drive at the Elgin Trail north terminus, to its northern terminus in St. Marys at the Avon Trail west terminus. This series of caches follows the off-road trail portions of the Thames Valley Trail (TVT) and are named for various fictional characters of the Star Trek universe.
Number One was the lieutenant commander and second-in-command to Capt. Pike in the pilot of the original series.
The cache is along the hedgerow of the trail.
