While in pursuit of our 365+ day streak we have come to realize a few things. One: the Woodsboro area had very few caches to help us out. This led us to many miles of driving once the few local caches had been depleated. Two: during a grueling streak of this length guardrail and light post caches can sometimes be a blessing. You don't want to hike up a mountain to find a really cool gadget cache at 10:00p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday. Three: Weather comes and goes with no regard to your streak. Blizzards, tornado warnings, HURRICANE SANDY, and blistering heat will try to make you fail. Having an ace in the hole or 3 can be a life saver. Four: long days at work, sickness, familiy issues, etc. act with the same cruelness as the weather. HAVE an ace in the hole. Last: it has come to my attention that many local geocaching friends are in the middle of their own streak. You all must resist the urge to grab this one as soon as possible just to watch your number of finds grow by one smiley. This cache is a gift to the streaking cachers. Use it wisely.
This cache is a standard guardrail cache. No surprises. There is a small area to park just off of Rt 194. The container is small so BYOP. Due to the shape of the container, tweezers may be helpful to retreive the log. Good luck finding this cache and on all of your geo-achievements.
