Geocache Description:

A film can located near the parking area. Enjoy the tower and the view as this is a great spot to climb and take some pictures! Terrain is a 2 only because the road can be a bit rough at times!

Another cache that we have placed at one of the 143 known locations of fire towers within the State of Maine. This one is at Peekaboo Mountain in Weston, Maine and is only about 8 miles from where I grew up. This tower has recently had some work done to it by the local ATV club (yes, the trail takes you right to it!) and is in good shape for climbing to get some spectacular views of Mount Katahdin to the west and of East Grand Lake to the east.
