CARMH4 Pink Phoenicopterus Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cache Effect: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

I'm hiding...but not in a very difficult place.  Bring your tweezers and a writing stick.

I was considered by the Ancient Egyptians to be the living representation of the god Ra,[23] while in Ancient Rome, our tongues were considered a delicacy.

In the Americas, the Moche people of ancient Peru worshipped nature.[25] They placed emphasis on animals and often depicted us in their art. Also, Andean miners have killed us for our fat, believed to be a cure for tuberculosis.

Times have changed, nowadays, I even hang out in peoples yards...

This cache has been placed for the CARMH4 event. The cache should not be located prior to 7 PM, Friday, Aug. 16th. The caches for the CARMH4 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start
