St Marks is part of the Team Ministry of Southend. It was built in 1901.Church activities include "Stitch and Chat" The church hall is used for the Milton Community Partnership.

St Mark wrote St Marks Gospel; his symbol is the winged lion and it is also the symbol of the city of Venice.
