This park is located along the Olympic Byway (Route 3) in Harrisville NY. The official site name is Harrisville Overlook of the Oswegatchie.
Park facilities include a short walking trail, picnic tables with outoodr grills, gazebo, great views of the river and many photo opportunities. On our visit, we spotted some cool frogs, various birds and had some luck with younger small mouth bass. This park is open from Memorial Day to October 12 daily from dawn to dusk.
There is a gas station nearby with clean restrooms (maybe the cleanest restroom I've ever seen at a gas station).
The cache is an old Nut jar covered with duct tape and filled with little toys/trinkets for children. Please enjoy your stay at the park...and your journey into the Adirondacks.
