Curiouscretin and I went on a little road trip and decided that since I'm here every few weeks, and when we stopped here, everyone enjoyed the place, that it deserved a cache. Both us, and the gaggle of children that filled every seat in her van (some belong to me, some belong to her, and some belonged to people I had honestly never met!
If you talk to my mom or grandparents, this place will be known as "over by the old Satellite building." If you ask anyone from my generation or a little older, you'll hear fond memories of Charley Brown's famous BBQ that stood here for decades. Those buildings have both been torn down to make way for progress and the new generation. There is a park across the street, which includes a skate park, and nearby you'll also find an appropriate place to fill your belly with lunch and frozen whatnot treats. You'll look near the wall for the container.
