The cache is a small traditional box suitable for TBs.
The road where the cache is appears is unused as a thoroughfare nowadays. It is however suitable for cars but the surface is uneven and care should be taken. Please drive slowly. Presumably it went through to Quickthorns and Blackthorn Lane at one time.
It is easily accessible to walkers via Manor Road. Cars can drive to within yards of the cache and park either on Southmeads Road or temporarily on Blackthorn Lane.
Please note that the University of Leicester Sports Centre is private land.
