Geocache Description:

Welcome to the "Hub-City Spartanburg Geotrail!"

The trail consists of 25 caches within the city limits of Spartanburg.

These caches are DAYLIGHT ONLY!

The Grain District is an emerging entertainment & art district west of Morgan Square in Downtown Spartanburg.

The western end of downtown has a rich history of products made from grain: flour produced by the Spartanburg Roller Mill at the turn of the last century, animal feed made at the gigantic Spartan Grain and Mill operation from 1920 to 1990, and now prize-winning microbrews created at the RJ Rockers complex.

The artwork created near this geocache pays homage to the history of this area.

You should be able to access this geocache from the sidewalk, Please don’t walk through the foliage or the bushes. Also be leary of muggles and other passers-by.
