Joli cloître en grès et jardin qui est un havre de paix. Le monastère franciscain fut fondé en 1623 afin de "moraliser" les marins du port. Lors de la Révolution, il fut le siège du club des Jacobins. Ensuite, il servit tour à tour de caserne, puis de prison militaire. Le bâtiment est aujourd'hui inutilisé (seule la chappelle sert parfois pour des expositions).
L'ouverture du jardin et du cloître est ... aléatoire ; heureusement, la cache, de type nano est à l'extérieur. Amenez un stylo.
Attention, une Ciste se trouve à 10-15m plus haut sous un grès au pied d'un arbre : il ne s'agit pas de la cache.
Nice sandstone cloister and quiet garden. The franciscan monastery was founded in 1623 to "moralize" the sailors of the harbour. During the French Revolution, it hosted the Jacobins club, then became a barracks and a prison. The building is now unused, except for the chapel that hosts temporary exhibitions.
