Beware of muggles in this area as they can come by foot, bike, or car. You should be able to get a break in traffic almost anytime of day to retreive the cache. Be careful if crossing the curved street as cars can come around the corner quickly. The nearest parking to the geocache is in some residential areas on the north side of the cache. BYOP

NASA’s Endeavour Space Shuttle flew 25 missions in space from 1992-2011. In all, Endeavour flew 122,853,151 miles and spent 299 days in space. In the middle of the night on October 11, 2012, Endeavour began its final 12-mile city-street journey from LAX to its new home at the California Science Center. Although the city prepared in advance, the transportation encountered delays as additional trees along the route required trimming. Ultimately, the trip took Endeavour three days. Shane.palm likes to point out that the 12-mile trek would have only taken Endeavour 2.4 seconds had it been traveling at orbit speed.
The night the shuttle began its road trip, we stayed out from 10pm-5:30am watching it impressively move through the city, often with only inches of clearance on either side, on a 300,000 lb. transport vehicle (that’s 500,000 or a half-million lbs including the shuttle!). It was a night we will never forget. Endeavour arrived at the cache location around 5am and was delayed as nearby trees required trimming. Once branches were cleared, it inched down the street, crossed Sepulveda, and spent the remainder of the night in the parking lot behind Bed, Bath, and Beyond before continuing on the next day.
