Geocache Description:

The sign to Uterne Solar Power Station points you down a dirt track opposite the truck museum, it is a little corrugated, 2WD vehicles will access. The route to cache is easy, just walking across a field of grass/dirt depending on your time of year.

Nearby Uterne Solar Power Station (S24 46.112 E133 52.073) is the largest tracking solar power station in the Southern Hemishpere and found right here in Alice Springs.

The station covers more than three hectares and consists of 3,048 ultra-efficient mono-crystalline panels installed across 254 tracking arrays.

The cache is log only and a pencil/pen will be required by you on this journey.
