Geocache Description:


Xanth is a fantasy world created by author Piers Anthony for his Xanth series of novels, also known as The Magic of Xanth.
The dessert known as "Eye Scream" (made from the eyes of scream birds and not to be confused with "Eye Smilk") was introduced as a magical item in a book called "The Source of Magic" by Piers Anthony. This is the second in the Xanth series of books, first released in 1979. The series currently totals at least 28 novels with more planned for release in the near future.

There will be some Eye Screams nearby....
...the Scream Birds have been supplying the delicacy nicely. :)

(for those of you who are of the mundane (non-Xanth) folk,
 you would know this better as Ice Cream)

You do not have to scream, but you may want to just come for the fun.

Ray's Ice Cream. 
On Coolidge between 13 & 14 Mile Road in Royal Oak.

Please stop by and discover what makes their ice cream so special.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy their 1950s era parlor and soda fountain
with a scoop (or two) of one of their 50+ delicious ice cream flavors.

When:
Wed August 21, 2013
from 6:00-8:30pm.

Any way you can get there, please come! :-)

Geocaching and Eye Scream (Ice Cream),
 what better combination would you like? ;-)

Visit for a little while,
or visit for the whole evening.

Bring your Geo-Questions and Geo-Challenges for others to help with.
Who knows, maybe you'll be able to help them solve that tough-nut of a cache that
they've been working on for awhile while they help you with yours.

Bring your stories, travelbugs, coins, and whatever SWAG you'd like to trade.

We will have some fun and surprises in-store as well.
