The church of St Giles dates from the 12th century with a circa 15th century nave roof, fenestration and West tower. The chancel was rebuilt in 1826 and again in a further major restoration of 1900-02 by Sir Arthur Blomfield. Built of coursed ironstone with ashlar dressings in terms of size and plan the building is typical of parish churches along the Bedfordshire Greensand Ridge.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list
