Geocache Description:

Welcome to Lisbon Cemetery, Noble County, Indiana.

The earliest burial here appears to be Frances A. Martin, who died on June 17, 1851 at only 1 month and 21 days. Two others were also buried here in 1851, also children. In fact, there seem to be an extraordinary number of young people buried in this little cemetery. The last burial was in 2005, so it's possible it's still being used, although it is unmarked.

Cache is a small, plastic, snap-lid container, containing some swag and a log. This is one of our first hides, and we're not sure how these containers will hold up to the elements, so please let us know if you start seeing things wet, etc. Bring your own writing instrument.
