This is a favorite place for the NWRs to visit almost daily. We love to watch the garden change and is such a nice little museum. It is a hidden treasure on Granville Street. Come for the cache, stay for the butterflies, fish, plantings and if open, by all means, please visit the inside and say hello to Mindy.
"The Webb House Museum once was the home of Frank Camden Webb and his wife Shirley Park Pitser were both from prominent Newark families. They filled their new home with beloved antiques and family heirlooms. Mr. Webb died in 1942, but Shirley Webb continued to live in their home for the remainder of her life. Upon her death, in 1976, Mrs. Webb's home and collections were left to the Licking County Historical Society to be enjoyed as a museum." - Licking County Historical Society Webb House Museum brochure.
