This cache is located in Jones Bay wildlife reserve and is number one in a series of frightening caches.
Firstly a bit about Jones Bay its a water bird reserve and was originally made to help reguvinate water bird game stock (ducks) and give them a place that was safe from game season. It is formally surveyed twice a year but with many bird watchers visiting from time to time to monitor or check for any new species migration.
Its a great place to take a stroll but be careful it can get very slippery as its a bit of a marshland with very wet soil and not a lot of trees as such.
Secondly about the cache well there are no hints its all about danger.... or is it?
Fear not - or should you?
Most people have both rational and irrational fears - fear of death, close spaces, spiders, snakes, mice. The list goes on and on. Geocaching sometimes forces one to confront those fears. This little series is no exception
What is lurking in that hole?
This is just a taste of what may be to come....
This one reminds me of an old saying my nan used a lot.... "Once bitten, twice shy". Actually, I believe that was a song by Guns N' Roses also.
