Geocache Description:

My 100th cache placement. In one of my favorite parks in town, and a sentimental location for me.

I used a rock to hold the cache securely in place. Please replace the rock along with the cache. Thanks.

I gave some thought to what I wanted to do for my 100th cache placement. I had a few ideas in mind and started on one, but it will be better to publish in the spring. Instead of doing something clever, tricky, or new I am bringing you to a great spot that opened up when Retiredairman archived his caches to make room for new ones (thanks RAM).

On a cold, sunny Sunday afternoon I took my family on a walk through the park and placed the cache in this sentimental spot. A place where my life changed for good. It all goes back over decade ago to the day I met the woman who became my wife. That day we came to St Lawrence park in the evening with some friends and for a long time her and I sat at GZ, on these rocks, and we talked and talked, laying the groundwork to a great friendship, watching the stars and the lights of a large ship as it silently coasted by.

So with pleasure I bring you to a special place in my life, a fitting location for my 100th hide. A beautiful park and a great spot to enjoy the scenery. Lots of places to look and a tricky terrain, so it should be a fun hunt, but please use caution on the rocks. The cache should be winter friendly even if the snow is pretty deep.

Please use stealth and return the cache securely where you found it, and use a little nature to conceal the cache slightly. You are looking for a container around half the size of a peanut butter jar. Bring a pen.

Enjoy the Hunt!!
