LegoMikey: GZ has become the hangout of undesirables that have questionable practices, it's also become a bit of a rubbish dump. Not the kind of cache that I want to be known for. I'm sorry to see this one go but for the sake of good caching Karma I have to archive. Thanks to all those who have found it.

Geocache Description:

During the 1990's development on the Bluff exploded. Needless to say some of the residents were opposed to the proposed development.

This displeasure gave rise to many petitions being drawn up and signed but none more so than the one for the tree that the cache is hidden in. The petitioning to stop the removal of this tree delayed construction of the nearby shopping centre by nearly 6 months. Those of you who are old enough to remember, this was the site of the Bluff Drive In. The drive in didn't survive (and yes there was a petition for that too) but this tree did.
