H2O KLAN is inviting you to enjoy an afternoon at the park to do what cachers do best; cache and talk about caching. We will be starting at 10 a.m. and going until 12 noon. Everyone is welcome and as usual we encourage new cachers to attend. Raffle will be held for caching prizes so make sure to sign in on the sign in log.
Recycling is one of the easiest and best things we can do for Planet Earth. By recycling everyone can help protect their health and well-being and also help the environment. We are holding this event that will help complete H2O SON's Eagle Service Project which is making 50 fleece tie blankets for St. Jude Cancer Infusion chemotherapy patients.
We are asking you to please bring any empty aluminum cans and/or plastic bottles you would like to donate to this cause. You will be helping the environment and helping H2O SON donate fleece blankets to cancer patients so they can feel warmth and comfort during their chemotherapy treatments. Of course donations are purely voluntary and in no way are required to attend this event, but are appreciated more than most can understand.
There are two free lots to park in (see the waypoints). If you would like to park closer to the event area, the park entrance fee is $5.00. Due to limited tables and seats in the area, feel free to bring a chair to sit in while we talk cache.
