BrynMrk: Thank you TJ for the heads up. I went to check on it tonight and found what you were referring to. This whole area is being developed with some construction. The once permanent marker and cache hideout is no more.

I was able to retrieve the cache but I'm afraid this location needs to be archived.

It had a great run but now it's over. Thank you to all who visited and tested your GPSr.

Geocache Description:


After GCM5WW-GPSr Accuracy Check Station was laid to rest I felt a responsibility to continue Calibrating GPS's, from Garmins clear down to Smartphone's. The whole purpose of this hide is to create a cache in an open space with not a whole lot of satellite disruption that will allow Cacher's to see how much their GPS was off by. To test it, put your GPS up to the cache and post in your log how much feet it was off by.
