This series of caches is being placed in honor of my wife, McCallBennett, for her 40th birthday. The locations of the caches are significant to one or both of us and relate to our relationship from meeting to over eight years of marriage. Happy birthday, Babe!
She grilled my meat.
REAL/"Authentic" Korean barbeque, or gogigui, is an experience that you must...well...experience! See, the traditional form of Korean BBQ involves restaurant patrons cooking their own meals - on a grill that is built into the center of the table itself. Typical bbq selections include beef, shortribs, pork, or chicken. Some locations may offer seafood selections (eel, etc.) as well. Several side dishes are provided as part of the meal, such as salad, soup, rice, garlic cloves, fish cakes, fermented bean curd and various vegetables. Often, a leaf of lettuce is wrapped around the items and eaten much like a burrito.
McCall introduced me to Korean BBQ and it remains a favorite cuisine of ours. Luckily, living in Korea Town we have no shortage of options from which to choose. This is -by far- our favorite. Sure, you'll come out smelling like a campfire, but you'll be stuffed too full to care!
The cache is a small, clear plastic container; log only. Nothing original about the hide. The difficulty is really about a 1, but during business hours it jumps up to at least 3 (due to the presence of one security guard, who really takes his job seriously) so I took the average as the "official" difficulty rating. You may want to attempt late night or early morning finds for best results.
Congrats to dandcp for FTF!
