There are four geocachers (SgtMahoney, Hooks, Tackleberry, & Sweetchuck) who each began caching in a different year (2001, 2005, 2008, or 2009). Each of these cachers prefers a different mode of transportation while caching (horseback, car, bicycle, or kayak), and each cacher signs the logbook of caches they've found with a different color pen (black, blue, red, orange).
From the clues below, figure out which cacher began caching in which year, what mode of transportation they prefer, and what color ink they sign logbooks with.
Clues:
1. Either the person who travels by bicycle or the person who travels by kayak is Tackleberry.
2. The person who travels by bicycle started caching before the person who travels by car.
3. The person who started caching in 2009 has always traveled by horseback.
4. The cacher who signs with orange ink is not Tackleberry.
5. Of SgtMahoney and Sweetchuck, one signs with black ink and the other started caching in 2005.
6. The person who signs with orange ink doesn't travel by kayak or car.
7. The person who travels by horseback is not Sweetchuck.
8. The person who travels by bicycle uses red ink.
9. Sweetchuck began caching after the person who uses red ink.
The cache is a small lock & lock container located at:
N 43° 19.ABC
W 073° 39.DEF
where:
A= The number of letters in the name of the cacher who started caching in 2005 MINUS 2.
B= The number of letters in the color of ink used by the cacher who travels by bicycle.
C= The number of letters in the mode of transportation used by the person who begain caching in 2009 MINUS 2.
D= The last digit in the year the cacher who travels by car began caching DIVIDED BY 2.
E= The number of vowels in the mode of transportation used by Tackleberry.
F= The number of letters in the name of the cacher who signs logbooks with black ink MINUS 4.
For our purposes here, vowels are defined as the letters that are ALWAYS vowels. Any letters that are "sometimes" vowels should be counted as consonants.
And, of course, the geochecker:
