We all have heard of the Grim Reaper but what you don't know is he has an evil twin brother, who is a Geocacher. He oversees every cache out there, all 2 million+. So if you're a CO, watch out because he will visit your cache if you don't maintain IT!!!!
Good CO - It's fun to find caches but when you start hiding it's a blast reading logs, of the people who found or DNF them. Every once in awhile you'll see a log that says "Log is wet" or "found on the ground" or "cap is broken", all minor repairs which requires you to go and maintain it. Then all of a sudden you get a few DNF's in a row, then you go out to GZ and YUP it's gone, so you replace it. Then a few months go by with finds (which keeps a smile on your face) then BAM! DNF's again!!! Then you start thinking "Man what's going on?" then you replace with a more "evil" hide. Happiness again.............. then DNF'S!!!!!! So you give up and Archive it.............................. Bad CO - They hide a cache, get a ton of finds then "Log is Wet" or "found on the ground" or "cap is broken", all minor repairs which they TOTALLY ignore!! Then all of a sudden they get a few DNF's in a row, still they do nothing. Then someone reports it to a publisher and he disables it and gives them 30 days. Now thats plenty of time to decide what to do. When that time is up the ARCHIVER is called in to take the spot and open it up for what he hopes is a more responsible cacher!! So all in all DON"T GET ARCHIVED!!!!!!!!!!!! HAVE FUN!!!! J*B
