One of the Bottesford Crew grew up in this lovely village and used to walk to her Granny's house along this footpath. In those days the footpath went straight across fields. Now the junior members of the Bottesford Crew walk down the same footpath to get to their Granny's house.
Bottesford is a lovely village with a lot of history. You can see St Mary's church from the cache location and it is worth a visit if you have time. The church contains the only known tomb in England to record a death by witchcraft, as well as lots of other interesting features. The village also has a butchers, green grocers, three pubs and two restaurants so you won't go hungry or thirsty if you decide to stay longer. There are 10 other caches in Bottesford within walking distance of this one so you can definitely up your numbers whilst in the area.
This is our first cache and we have tried to make something that we would like to find. The log is in one container and there is another container for holding TBs or anything else you don't want to get damp. Larger TBs, swaps etc can be left loose in the cache. We cache as a family group and swaps are very important to the minicachers so please trade equal or up.
