Despite it's modest height of only 262 feet or 80 new fangled metres Thornthwaite Latter Rigg, the small hill with the big name, is well worth a visit.It can be easily approached from either Broughton or Woodland and you will most likely have the place to yourself (unless everyone's rushing here to claim this cache now I've placed it here - what have I done?)
