Geocache Description:

This is the final cache in the August 2013 souvenir series. Please cover it well with natural materials! Plew screw cap on carefully as it is a bit sticky. There are ANTS at the GZ so please be careful. Check for muggles before approaching! For the series introduction see August 1 (GC4G9VA).

This cache is the last cache in the August 2013 souvenir series of 30 caches. If you have completed the series, congratulations! If you completed the series in consecutive order, an even bigger pat on the back! And a big thanks for participating. We hope you had some fun along the way. Note: If you want to "favorite" the series, please leave your FP here.

FTF: RS Arizona!

FTF SERIES CONSECUTIVE: We'll give it to jaysjunk2000 who found 29 of the 30 series caches, all on the correct day!!!!

Listing of those who found the most caches on the correct day: jaysjunk2000 (29), philbeer (23), grandmabetsy and poehunters both with (22), and HessX3 (10).

According to our rules, to claim you found the entire series, you must find every August souvenir series cache existing at the time. If one or more of the series is missing or disabled, and you have found all that are not, you can claim the series completed. Note: According to our rules, to claim consecutive series found, you do not have to start on the first day of the month. Start on any day and continue to the end of the month. Then start on day one and work your way to the day you started.

We started placing caches for this series on July 13. Since then there have been a few bumps in the road. There were about 20 date changes, 10 coordinate adjustments (Google Earth inexplicably failed me repeatedly), 3 total redos (too near a school, too near a post office, muggled before publication) 3 that needed general tinkering, 2 that were muggled, and 18 out of 30 that went off without a hitch. Placing the last cache yesterday I got a flat tire after driving in the alley. It has taken a month (minus a 10 day trip to Iceland) to complete the series. Thinking of doing your own 30 day series? I wouldn't recommend it. ;) Happy caching!
