Chonu: I have decided to archive this geocache. I am quite sad to do so as it is my first geocache, but I learned a lot from this one particular placement. After a lot of thought, I decided a geocache here was going to be too much for this wetland and having become more savy with permission and sensibility, I decided this cache had lived its life. I love this little area, though I think it's not best for human feet. I also believe I did not have the proper permissions to make this hide in the first place.

Thanks to everyone who made this cache really invigorate me into hiding more [of better quality] and becoming better at the sport.

Geocache Description:

Hidden off of Park Hill Road, Easthampton, an untraversed and overgrown spot in the woods marks home to this cache. There is no ideal way to reach the central area of this high-brush area, so be prepared with long pants! The terrain difficulty can range from 2-4 depending on the presence of an artificial trail or if nature and time erases such a path. Be ready for anything!

The easiest way to begin this hunt is to walk through the brush directly behind the guard rail on Park Hill Road to the end of the river. You will then need to find a path to Ground Zero toward the "center" of this area with the tallest foreboding trees. Beware tick activity as best possible.

The main challenge is reaching Ground Zero, although there may be artificial trails from past cachers. Facing the woods (and GZ) from in front of the guard rail directly, it is best to turn right and avoid navigating the stream to the left. Good luck.

The cache is a medium-sized, camouflaged cookie container with a log and pen and an assortment of random goodies and perhaps a golf tee or two.
