August is being celebrated by geocachers around the world as the “31 Days of Geocaching.” Find a geocache, log a “Found it” (or an “Attended” for an Event Cache) and earn a unique calendar-style Geocaching souvenir for each day in August. That’s 31 souvenirs up for grabs.
I have been here for almost a year, have placed a few caches in the last few months and have only met a couple other local cachers face to face so I thought, what a better time to meet some of the other local cachers and In an effort to 'help' my fellow geocachers obtain these souvenirs I have decided to host my 1st event. The "31 Days" is drawing to a close and for some of the locals that have found most of the caches in the area ya’ll need something like this to fill that souvenier calendar.
Sooooo……. Come out and join us, put some faces to the Geonicks, talk Geocaching, swap hints & Geosenses and maybe trade some Travel Bugs.

Why:
To eat yummy ice cream, talk geocaching, trade bugs and grab your August 30 souvenir!
Extra things to keep in mind:
If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
Each person attending will be responsible for any costs incurred for food and drinks.
