Geocache Description:

This cache is a mid-sized container housed outside of the library. Remove only the lid. (You'll understand when you find it.) Do not replace too tightly, please. As always, watch out for Muggles. If the library is open, stop in to see all the books and videos we have on geocaching, traveling, hiking, camping, and other adventure activities.

The Winslow Public Library is housed in an old Methodist Church that was build in the 1950s. This location not only serves Winslow but also serves a much broader area up to the north where there is no other public library on the Navajo Nation. Many tourists traveling I-40 and U.S. Highway 89 frequently stop to use the library's free 24/7 Wi-Fi access.

This cache is one in a series of caches placed by the Navajo County Library District located in Holbrook, Arizona. These caches are supported with funds granted to Navajo County Library District by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records Agency under the Library Services and Technology Act, which is administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
