Cache is a nano, located near some muggles in buildings, so use stealth, and watch for traffic.
A bitter-sweet cache for us, but one that we feel should be done anyway.
This is the story of "BIG MO". Big Mo was GangGreen1's daily driver. Anyone in the geocaching community that knows GG1, knew Big Mo. It was his Dodge 4x4 truck, with the hand build customized bed made from diamond plate steel. Big Mo was a multi-use truck. It also had a specialized passenger seat for GG1's daughter who is wheel chair bound, yet was every bit tough enough to be instrumental in the placing of the smiley series caches; several tires not-withstanding.
One fateful day, while being used as a work truck, and hauling scrap metal to the scrap yard, poor Big Mo developed an aneurysm of the fuel line in the engine compartment while heading west up the overpass of I10 at Redd Rd. The ensuing fire soon went out of control. Although the occupants, (not GG1) stopped the truck and got out, the fire was unstoppable. At this time the transmission let go, and poor Big Mo headed in reverse on I-10 jumping the curb, crossing the access road, and coming to rest at what is now GZ. Although the area might look like the Roswell Alien landing area, it is just the final resting (well, almost final) resting place of Big Mo. Did we mention that it made the news?
Big Mo now rest at a wrecking yard on Alameda, east of Zaragoza Blvd., where hopefully his heart, and other organs will be used to help keep other vehicles of his ilk alive. R.I.P.
