Geocache Description:


This empty lot used to be an establishment called the Island Cottage Hotel. It became a popular spot for dinner, drinks, receptions and bands. I was told that there used to be an amusement park next to the hotel called Treasure Island. The Island Cottage Hotel was torn down in 2001 as the building was old and in disrepair. This should be a quick park and grab. You will be looking for a small container. Please be sure it is tucked away before you leave in order for it to remain there for others. Bug spray may be needed depending on the season. Bring your own writing instrument.
