This cache is placed on the site of the former smallpox isolation hospital, gillingham, an estimated 300 million people died from smallpox in the 20th century ,the earliest case of death from smallpox was found on the eygpitian mummified body of Ramses V who died in 1145 BC !!!!! This disease is now eradicated due the research of edward jenner in 1796, smallpox is now deemed as eradicated by the World Health Organisation since 1980.
