To successfully complete this challenge, you must find at least one cache for every minute of 173° East longitude. For example, for Minute 00, you would need to have found a cache between E 173° 00.000 and E 173° 00.999. For Minute 01, you would need to have found a cache between S 173° 01.000 and S 173° 01.999 and so on. Once you have successfully found a cache for every minute, you may find this challenge cache and sign the log. To show that you have completed the challenge, provide list of all the qualifying caches. There should be 60 caches listed, 00-59.
• All cache types are accepted except for Waymarks, Benchmarks, and Locationless
• Previous finds do count, so you may already qualify for this challenge.
• Archived caches that you have found also count.
• The caches that can be used are not limited to Nelson / Tasman. Caches from anywhere in the world can be used as long as they are in the 173° East longitude.
• For Unknown and Multi caches, use the given / published / start coordinates.
• Cachers cannot use their own caches that they placed to qualify.
• For each cache, please give the GC code, cache name, the minute, and date found.
• There may be many ways to create your list, but I used GSAK, loaded my finds database, and used the Macro for GSAK that checks your finds to see if you qualify - ChallengeMinutes.gsk.
• If you have any questions, please write a note and I will respond.
Note: There is a Macro for GSAK that checks your finds to see if you qualify - ChallengeMinutes.gsk.
Note2: If you don't use GSAK, check The Seagnoid's note of 19/10/14 regarding a link to a site which can check your finds online.
The cache is a metallic container with log only. BYO writing device. GZ is by a busy road so do take extra care if you have junior cachers with you.
