A Small Cache by the rarely flowing 5 Mile Brook.
This cache has been placed to celebrate the rare flowing of the 5 Mile Brook that runs from farm land out the back of Gelorup through to Dalyellup Beach. It hasn't flowed for 3 years prior to this week, but a good few days of constant heavy rains have changed that! The frogs certainly appreciate it! Who knows how long it will flow for, but there's always the Flowing of the 5 Mile Brook festival to look forward to each time it does. Held as soon as possibly practical after the Brook starts to run, Sheoak Park is the location for the day of family fun, including home made toy boat races down the brook!
