There is plenty of interesting history attached to Beverley Beck which can be found on the information boards placed around the area. There are some lovely sights including a great view of Beveley Minster as well as some waterside wildlife. You may also see some not-so-great sights such as litter in the water which spoils some parts of the beck. Maybe a CITO event is in order??? There is also that wonderful aroma associated with the waste water works which varies in strength depending on the time of day you visit! Beverley beck is home to the annual Beverley Raft Race and is also an attraction to those who enjoy a spot of fishing.

This mini-series is best conducted by using the free parking (if required) by the lock and following the footpath to 'The Man with a sack' (as we call him) which is outside a few local pubs, then back down to the start via waterside road which, in total, is just a 1.5 mile loop. If parking isn't required then you could, if you wish, start anywhere along the series. This mini series offers a variety of caches including a couple which are crammed with treasure for the kids (and big kids!). There are a huge array of Muggles of varying types - Fishing Muggles/Dogwalking Muggles/Boating Muggles/Running Muggles.
Please be careful walking down waterside road - there isnt too much traffic but there are parts with no pavement.
BBMS #2 is a small treasure filled box. within a little 'den-like' area, which is behind the path side hedge. PLEASE trade equal or up when swapping 'treasure' Cheers
