Agios Nikolaos - Ancient Quarry

In the northern part of Skyros,  in Pouria place,  lies the ancient quarry. There you will see the impressive cliffs rise of the sea, the remains of an ancient quarry. Skyros was famous for the marble and the limestone.

Next to the quarry is the church of St. Nicholas which is carved on a big rock, a remnant of an ancient quarry.

Additional Info : 

Just opposite the church of St. Nicholas, is a small island that hosts the chapel of St. Ermolaos. The whole area is very beautiful, serene and calm, which, especially at sunset, is breathtaking.

The Cache : 

The cache is a film canister with a log sheet.
