Geocache Description:

I'm back at the old job, that takes me past here on a regular basis! This cache is not accessible from Interstate 15, only from the rest area. Also, the rest area is sometimes closed in the winter. Exercise caution, as there is sometimes a lot of heavy truck traffic, as well as automobile traffic in the area. There may be reptiles (snakes) in the area also.

This cache is in the DuBois rest area and not accessible from Interstate 15. The rest area is sometimes closed in the winter. Due to where the cache is located, it may not be readily findable if there is snow on the ground, even if the rest area is open. This is normally a nice quiet little rest area, accessible from Interstate 15 Exit 167 Northbound and Southbound. It is also accessible from Idaho State Highway 22 on the East side of Interstate 15. The rest area is on the west side of DuBois, Idaho, a quaint little historic town in NorthEastern Idaho. There appears to be quite a few newly remodeled buildings, as well as some new buildings in DuBois. There are several nice caches in DuBois, as well as at least one more cache in this rest area. There are local information panels, on the south side of the building, as well as inside the building. There are also free Idaho State Highway maps available in the building. The camoed container is slightly larger than a 35 mm film can, and has a screw top lid. I drive a big truck, delivering wine and spirits to several distributors in Montana, including the Montana State Liquor Board, and go past here usually once each week, sometimes twice a week, depending upon whether my first delivery is in Butte or Bozeman.
